An Evening with Peter Brock

peterbrockPeter Brock is a rare individual who talked his way into Art Center School in Los Angeles and was recruited by GM’s Chuck Jordan at the tender age of 19. Bill Mitchell picked Brock’s design that became the Corvette Stingray. Brock’s amazing career has included serving as Carroll Shelby’s first paid employee, founding Brock Racing Enterprises and creating winning race cars for fledging Toyota and Nissan (Datsun back then), creating a leading hang gliding company and his notable writing and photographic work in major media. It’s enough for a half dozen careers and Peter will share these exploits with us at the Basque Center.

petebrokbookPeter will be signing his latest book, “Stingray – Genesis of an American Icon” which will be available for purchase at this event.
