The WAJ Media Days team is pleased to announce the 25th Annual Media Day in scenic Monterey April 25th ~ 27th

WAJ Media Days returns to the beautiful Monterey Peninsula and Mazda Raceway for a 3-day extravaganza that is the WAJ “must attend” event of the year.

This year our headquarters will at the Monterey Tides Hotel. The Tides will also serve as the site of our annual banquet, as well as several of our Media Days activities.

The 25th Annual Media Days will take place over a three-day period, beginning with registration and buffet dinner on Tuesday, April 25th, the Ride-and-Drive on Wednesday April 26th with on and off road driving opportunities and lunch at the scenic Quail Lodge, followed by a day of track testing at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on Thursday, April 27th.  Please note that only credentialed WAJ members may drive the vehicles that will be available during Media Days.  Associate Members and Guests are welcome to ride along as passengers. You must have renewed your 2017 WAJ Membership in order to attend.  You can renew your membership HERE.

Arrival Day – Tuesday – April 25, 2017
4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Afternoon Registration at the Monterey Tides
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Buffet at the Tides sponsored by Nissan

On/Off Road Ride and Drive – Wednesday – April 26, 2017
7:00 AM – 9:30 AM Registration at the Monterey Tides
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM Breakfast at the Monterey Tides sponsored by Honda/Acura
9:00 AM – Drive from the Tides to Quail Lodge
9:30 AM – Arrival at the Quail Lodge. The Ride & Drive and Land Rover sponsored Off-Road course starts at 9:30. Both will be based out of the Quail Lodge and the Land Rover Experience Center.
9:30 AM – 11:30 AM Morning snacks and coffee
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Lunch & Presentation at the Quail Lodge sponsored by Toyota
1:00 PM – 3:30 PM Ride & Drive and the Land Rover Off-Road driving
1:00 PM – 3:30 PM Afternoon Desert and drinks
4:00 PM – Return to the Monterey Tides at 4PM
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Reception at the Tides sponsored by Jeep/FCA
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM  Steel Market Development Institute Dinner and Keynote Address, Silent Auction and Raffle
 9:30 PM – Mercedes After-glow gathering at the Tides, No host bar, drink tickets accepted

Track Evaluation Thursday – April 27, 2017
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM Breakfast and Driver Orientation (Mandatory) at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca sponsored by Mazda
9:00 AM – 9:30 AM Driver Orientation on the track
9:30 AM – 11:45 AM Vehicle evaluation on the track
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM Lunch in the garage
1:30 PM – 4:00 PM Vehicle evaluation on the track
4:00 PM – Mazda Raceway Closes.
